The good weather is already here and you are dreaming of getting away and having fun sailing. TEMO has tested the MiniCat 310 inflatable catamaran at its headquarters in Nantes.
And it's Thibaut from the TEMO team who was lucky enough to share a sunny afternoon with Greg from MiniCat France. A great opportunity to test both products.
Here is the complete video of this test.
Sailing in a MINICAT
What if I'm in a hurry?
No problem, my minicat can be assembled in about 25 minutes with a little help. And best of all, you won't need any tools to assemble it.
If you're staying for a few days, just leave your MiniCat afloat at the marina or on the beach of your favorite spot, then get on board and sail away.
Is the MiniCat tough?
As we know, light sailboats are regularly subjected to harsh tests on the ground, sand and rocks on the beach. Its inflatable hulls are therefore reinforced for intensive and sporting use. It is also equipped with very robust polypropylene daggerboards. Finally, to bring rigidity to the MiniCat, the mast is made of light aluminum. As you can see, all the materials are of high quality, and they come together to create a highly durable product.
What about the feel?
The MiniCat is very seaworthy and even allows for a 45° windward run without any sliding. It will not disappoint experienced sailors and will be ideal for novices. You should choose the 420 over the 310 if you’re used to sailing with two people.

What if TEMO-450 was THE ideal solution for your MiniCat?
Using the TEMO electric motor ?
Although mainly designed for dinghies, the TEMO·450 is suitable for all types of light boats, and has a simple, light and durable engine.
When you are under sail, the wind does sometimes drop, so an electric motor is a welcome addition for harbor arrivals, long channels, etc. This is where TEMO comes into its own. Thanks to its 1 hour autonomy, the "electric sculling" is an additional security for long trips. At last a solution for getting home on time !
It is easily positioned on the MINICAT, using a removable oarlock (available as an accessory) or with a textile attachment, with a tip for example.
Just put it on and go!
How do I Store my TEMO when I'm sailing?
Thanks to its tubular shape, you can easily store it laid out at the front of the MINICAT. Even while sailing, it will not interfere with your maneuvers. With its minimal space requirement, the telescopic tube retracts from 1m70 to 1m30. What could be more practical ?
A big thank you to Greg from MINICAT France for coming to Nantes to test our electric outboard motor.
