The good weather is already here, you dream of escape, sailing and light sailing.
TEMO tested the MiniCat 310 inflatable catamaran for you in their home base in Nantes. Thibaut from the TEMO team had the pleasure of spending a sunny afternoon with Greg from MiniCat France. A golden opportunity to test both products.
Navigating in a MINICAT.
The catamaran allows you to explore new horizons, the pleasure of being on the water, leisurely cruises—it's a different way to enjoy the sea and inland waterways. Like the TEMO·450, the MiniCat is lightweight, compact, and easy to use . A real breeze.
MiniCat is reinventing the catamaran experience. It's inflatable and packs into one or two bags, depending on the size. For our test day, we used the 310, which folds down into a single bag. With its light weight of 32.5 kg, your catamaran will be your perfect companion for any holiday, making it the ideal companion.
What if I'm in a hurry?
No problem, my MiniCat can be assembled in about 25 minutes with just a little practice. Best of all, you won't need any tools to assemble it. If you're staying for several days, leave your MiniCat afloat in the marina or on the beach of your favorite spot, hop on board, and set sail.

Is the MiniCat durable?
As we know, light sailing boats are put to the test, regularly scraping against the ground, the sand, the rocks at the edge of the beach.
Its inflatable hulls are therefore reinforced for intensive and sporting use . It is also equipped with very robust polypropylene fins . Finally, to provide rigidity to the MiniCat, the mast is made of lightweight aluminum . As you can see, all the materials are high quality, for a durable product.
And what about the sensations?
The MiniCat handles very well on the water and can even sail upwind at 45° without slipping. It won't disappoint experienced sailors and is ideal for beginners. If you usually sail with two people, choose the 420 over the 310.

What if TEMO·450 was THE ideal solution for your MiniCat?
The TEMO electric motor in use?
Although primarily designed for tenders, TEMO·450 is adaptable to all types of light boats, a simple, lightweight and durable motor.
When sailing, the wind sometimes drops, and an electric motor is then a welcome addition for arriving in port, navigating long channels, etc. This is where the TEMO·450 comes in. Thanks to its 1-hour battery life, this "electric oar" provides added safety for extended outings; finally, a solution for getting back on time!
It is easily placed on the MINICAT , using a removable oarlock. (available as an accessory) or with a textile attachment, with a piece for example.
Position yourself and go!
What should I do with my TEMO when I'm browsing?
Thanks to its tubular shape, you can easily store it lying flat at the front of the MINICAT, even while underway, without hindering your maneuvers. With its minimal footprint, the telescopic tube retracts from 1.70m to 1.30m. What could be more practical?
A big thank you to Greg from MINICAT France for coming to Nantes to TEMO to test our electric outboard motor.
