The TEMO·1000 outboard motor has been designed to be powerful and practical, capable of powering boats weighing up to 1.5 tonnes.

Protecting your outboard motor is essential, whether at anchor or in a marina. The TEMO anti-theft kit effectively deters theft attempts while providing peace of mind thanks to 3 locks and 2 rods.

The TEMO·1000 anti-theft kit has been specially designed to meet this security requirement by locking the three key elements of your TEMO·1000 motor: the battery, the motor, and the motor mount.

The anti-theft kit is easy to install and integrates perfectly into the design of the TEMO·1000, without compromising your ease of use.

 

How to use the TEMO·1000 electric motor anti-theft kit?

  1. Protecting the battery:
    The first metal rod is inserted into the through-slot provided on the motor cover.
    It is then locked with the first padlock, making it impossible to remove the battery.

  2. Locking the motor to the motor mount:
    The second security level concerns securing the motor unit to the motor mount. A second metal rod is inserted through the mounting arms (using the same safety rod location) and secured with a padlock.
    The motor is thus firmly held in place and cannot be detached without the key.

  3. Securing the mount to the boat:
    Finally, the third padlock locks the mounting screws of the motor support to your transom. Once locked, these screws can no longer be loosened, making it impossible to remove the motor mount from the boat.

Est-il possible de sécuriser mon TEMO·1000 contre le vol ?

Un kit antivol, comprenant deux cadenas et trois tigettes, est proposé à la vente dans notre boutique, rubrique « Accessoires ». Il permet de sécuriser l’ensemble des éléments de votre moteur susceptibles d’être détachés, tels que la batterie, le bras du moteur ou encore son support sur votre embarcation.

Comment fixer TEMO·1000 sur mon bateau ?

Le TEMO·1000 est livré avec un support moteur universel, compatible avec la plupart des tableaux arrière grâce à ses deux vis serre-joint ergonomiques. Si votre tableau arrière est plus large, TEMO propose en option une longueur de vis adaptée, disponible sur la page pièces détachées.

La hauteur d’arbre se règle facilement grâce au point de fixation intégré au moteur, pour ajuster parfaitement l’immersion à votre embarcation. Le trim peut également être ajusté directement au niveau du support fixé au tableau arrière, afin d’optimiser la verticalité et les performances.

Le TEMO·1000 est-il adapté à mon bateau ?

Comparable à un moteur essence de 3 CV, il offre des performances équivalentes tout en étant plus léger, plus silencieux et plus confortable à l’usage. Avec une poussée statique de 27 kg, il propulse sans difficulté des annexes jusqu’à 6 personnes, des barques, des dériveurs ainsi que des voiliers jusqu’à 8 mètres ou 1,5 tonnes. Il s’adapte facilement à la plupart des tableaux arrière grâce à son support moteur.
