Thanks to its interchangeable side panels, the motor can easily be given a new look or matched to the aesthetics of your boat. TEMO offers five different colours of replacement side panels, giving everyone the freedom to personalise their motor and add their own touch.

Easy to replace, the side panels provide a simple and quick way to refresh the motor’s appearance without having to replace the entire unit.

Open Machine Design

Environmental performance was a core design principle of the T700 from the outset. Through the Open Machine Design, we aim to extend the product’s useful life and avoid unnecessary replacement.

Its modular architecture makes the motor, controller, battery, display and throttle independent, accessible and individually replaceable. If one component fails or becomes obsolete, only that module needs to be changed rather than the entire outboard. The same architecture enables future upgrades, helping prevent premature obsolescence.

When will I receive my T700?

We are launching a pre-order campaign to give customers the opportunity to reserve their T700 electric motor ahead of its official release.

Deliveries are scheduled to begin in April 2027. The T700 will also be officially available in stores from April 2027.

Is the T700 waterproof?

The T700 has an IP67 protection rating, meaning it can withstand immersion in water up to a depth of 1 meter for up to 30 minutes without damage.

Are TEMO electric motors compatible with a Bluetooth app?

No, TEMO electric motors are not compatible with a Bluetooth app. Our motors are designed to be simple and intuitive to use, accessible to everyone, without the need for a smartphone or a dedicated application.

To ensure ease of use and minimize the risk of errors or potential technical issues, we have chosen not to integrate Bluetooth connectivity or app-based controls into our motors.

This approach allows you to enjoy a straightforward, reliable boating experience, with controls designed for ease of use and peace of mind on the water.

Does the T700 electric motor float?

No, like most electric motors, the T700 is not designed to float if it falls into the water, even though it is waterproof (IP67).

To prevent the motor from being lost if it accidentally falls overboard, we recommend securing it to a fixed point on the boat using a suitable safety rope or lanyard. This simple precaution helps keep the motor attached to your boat and makes it easier to retrieve if necessary.

What is the adjustable shaft height of the T700 electric motor?

The T700 electric motor features an adjustable shaft height ranging from 40 to 65 cm, allowing it to accommodate different boat configurations and ensuring optimal propeller positioning in the water.

For efficient operation and effective propulsion, we recommend positioning the motor so that there is approximately 15 cm of clearance between the top of the propeller blade and the water surface. This distance helps ensure proper propeller immersion and optimal propulsion performance.

Is the T700 electric outboard motor cable designed to withstand marine conditions?

Yes, the T700 electric outboard motor features a reinforced cable designed to provide good durability and ensure a reliable connection between the motor and the control display. As the T700 has an open-frame design, its wiring remains visible and accessible, meaning it may be directly exposed to external elements. Its reinforced construction helps it withstand the demands of use in a marine environment.

How do you charge the battery of your T700 outboard motor?

The battery of the T700 outboard motor is charged using the same connector as the one used for discharging. A 110–220 V compatible charger is supplied with the motor. It allows you to fully recharge the battery in 6 hours.
