Sustainability commitment
TEMO is committed to building a more sustainable and responsible boating industry
At TEMO, innovation and responsibility go hand in hand. We develop solutions that support more environmentally friendly boating while creating a positive impact for the people who enjoy and work on the water.
Our social and environmental commitment

1. Reducing environmental impact
The electric motors developed by TEMO help reduce CO₂ emissions, eliminate the risk of fuel leaks and significantly decrease noise pollution, contributing to the preservation of both marine and inland-water ecosystems.
In 2025, we conducted a major acoustic study in partnership with ENSTA Bretagne to better understand the impact of electric and combustion engines on biodiversity.

2. Designing durable products
This environmental commitment is reflected throughout the entire product lifecycle: robust and long-lasting design, easy repairability through interchangeable parts, long-term availability of spare parts, and careful consideration of battery end-of-life management and recycling.
TEMO also supports its customers in the transition towards cleaner, lower-carbon propulsion solutions.

3. Supporting a responsible local ecosystem
Deeply rooted in its region, TEMO works with local suppliers whenever possible, including several supported employment organisations (ESATs), and promotes an inclusive recruitment policy that values diversity of backgrounds and experiences.
Several members of the TEMO team are also active participants in regional entrepreneurial and marine industry networks, including the French Electric Boat Association, the French Marine Industries Federation, Réseau Entreprendre, and Coop Nautisme & Maritime in the Vannes and Auray area.

4. Promoting inclusion and social engagement
TEMO is also committed to supporting social initiatives. In particular, the company is involved with the Les Bureaux du Cœur association by making its premises available to people experiencing homelessness during evenings and weekends.
