TEMO, the French manufacturer of innovative electric motors for boats, is opening its American subsidiary.
TEMO today announced the creation of its subsidiary "TEMO USA Inc." in the United States (Delaware) with an operational unit in Portland, Maine.
With a logistics center for merchandise management and after-sales service, as well as sales offices with a dedicated team, the company is fully operational to accelerate the development of its brand in North America.
An American subsidiary to meet growing demand.
American boaters discovered the TEMO brand thanks to the success of its first electric motor, the TEMO.450, designed for tenders and light boats.
More than 5,000 units have been sold worldwide since 2019, including 300 to American and Canadian buyers since its official launch a year ago in the North American market.
The opening of TEMO USA Inc. will facilitate the supply of the reseller network and will allow for a rapid response to growing demand.

TEMO USA is seeking new resellers who, through its subsidiary, can reduce their approach costs and benefit from smaller shipments. Having a local warehouse also means higher margins for them, as well as 100% dedicated customer support.
Launch of the TEMO.450 Carbon version in North America.
TEMO USA Inc. will be exhibiting at IBEX Tampa and the Annapolis Sailboat Show this fall, where it will showcase the TEMO.450 in its carbon fiber version. The TEMO.450 carbon, already available in Europe for a year, boasts increased range thanks to its 372Wh or 12.8Ah battery and comes with a 5-year warranty.
The rest of the TEMO range - including the TEMO·1000 - will be available from next season in North America.
To support its launch in the United States, the brand has just launched a website dedicated to the North American market , www.temo-usa.com , as well as a LinkedIn and Instagram page. The launch is also accompanied by a large-scale digital communication campaign.
