SEASIDE by TEMO, a range of revolutionary POD drives

In line with its DNA, TEMO has designed this new range of propulsion systems to be very easy to install and maintain, and completely modular to adapt to every type of boat.

• 3 power ratings : 450 W, 1000 W or 3000 W delivered in a PODS architecture at the cutting edge of performance and sealing thanks to innovative components (hairpin motors and gasketed seals).
• 2 control displays to choose from : with or without screen console and remote control.
• 1 modular multi-battery system : made up of cassettes installed in a rack, allowing boaters to adapt their range and power all equipment onboard. Each cassette can be quickly removed and recharged independently at the dockside or at home.

Each technological building block in the SEASIDE range is made available to private individuals or worksites so that they can put together their own system to match the power and range they require . The strength of this new range lies in its modularity, energy efficiency, and technological innovation:

• Mechanically sealed , achieving an IP68 rating without a joint, for longer shaft life and improved efficiency.
• Latest-generation hairpin stator for 88% efficiency and improved hydroacoustic signature.
• Customized propellers for thrust and speed.
• Compatible with most folding propellers on the market.
• Plug and play controller and display.
• Removable and interchangeable cassette batteries.
• Battery pack designed to power onboard consumers and rechargeable with solar energy.

Just like the French boatyard Tofinou which partnered with TEMO to offer a fully electric version of its 7.9 dayboat, the Seaside range can be perfectly adapted to the needs of boat builders.

“ We asked TEMO to work with us on a complete electric drive system for the latest boat of our range, the Tofinou 7.9,” explains Thomas Vignau, Sales Director at Tofinou, Rhéa Marine and Wauquiez Yachts . "Our boats feature a 3kW pod drive with a removable battery pack that can be recharged at home using a standard electrical plug (6 hours per charge). The batteries are charged individually, so you can keep a maximum reserve in the boat, and very often only have to recharge one of the batteries. The added bonus of TEMO's integration was the ability to house the control unit directly at the helm, making speed control very ergonomic and immediate. ”

TEMO's SEASIDE range is now on sale to professional yards and to the general public.
