IP67 certification.

The TEMO·450 electric rowboat is 100% waterproof up to the limit of an IP67 certification.
This means it can be submerged for 30 minutes at a depth of 1 meter .

Water in my electric rowboat?

Furthermore, the entire TEMO·450 is waterproof, from the handle to the propeller.

If you see water circulating in your electric motor, don't worry. The watertight parts of the electric sculling oar are the gray tube (containing the battery) and the black tube (containing the motor). This is because it's an electric boat motor with an integrated battery. Therefore, it's normal to see water flowing from the handle or the blue tube when the motor has been submerged .

Charging port for the electric rowing machine.

A small point of attention regarding the charging port (just under the handle).

It is also waterproof, but can be sensitive to salt and sand.

Rinse this part thoroughly with fresh water as often as possible to avoid rust stains.

This operation is all the more important if the catch happens to be in seawater.

TEMO·450 in charge

Feel free to repeat this procedure on the TEMO·450 in general, and especially during winter storage . The more regularly and properly the engine is rinsed with fresh water, the longer its lifespan will be . Take care of your engine, and it will take care of you!

Buoyancy kit accessory for TEMO·450.

Finally, to avoid problems, we recommend the buoyancy kit. !

With this accessory combined with the practicality of the oarlock, you can be sure that your electric sculling oar will not end up at the bottom of the water, since, as its name suggests, it makes the TEMO·450 float!

You are therefore guaranteed to remain within the product's sealing limits.
