A strong commitment to transparency, the environment and employment.

The Origine France Garantie certification officializes the "Made in France" mention for TEMO products. Unlike the latter, which is unregulated, the OFG Label is awarded by an independent certification body. It guarantees that the brand's products meet strict criteria: more than 50% of the cost price of TEMO·450, TEMO·450 carbon and TEMO·1000 motors is of French origin, and these products acquire their essential characteristics during their manufacture on French territory. The assembly of the TEMO·450 and TEMO·450 in its carbon version is carried out at the subcontractor SERCEL, in Carquefou, while for the TEMO·1000 motors, the assembly line takes place at TEMO's headquarters in Vannes.

A look back at the OFG certification of TEMO electric outboards.

Justine PERUSSEL, co-founder of TEMO - “At TEMO, our commitment to French and European production has always been strong. As soon as we can and as long as it meets our quality requirements, we favor collaborations with local partners or suppliers. Obtaining this label reaffirms our CSR approach and demonstrates our commitment to promoting the region, employment and the manufacture of high value-added products.

TEMO, the French manufacturer of electric motors.

The OFG label auditors analyzed the entire manufacturing process (costs and locations), examined the origin of parts and sub-components before awarding the certification to TEMO. It offers consumers the guarantee that every stage of production complies with specific standards for hazardous materials, social and environmental standards, and helps to promote French know-how while supporting the local economy.

The main advantages of Origine France Garantie certification.

  1. Transparency
By obtaining this certification, TEMO assures its customers clear and reliable information on the origin of its products. Each TEMO motor certified OFG offers complete traceability, far from the usual customs complexities.
  2. Environment
Manufacturing in France also means committing to reducing the carbon footprint by favoring short supply chains and respecting strict environmental standards.
  3. Employment and local know-how
By purchasing products certified Origine France Garantie, consumers defend local employment and support France's economic sovereignty by preserving often unique know-how.

The guarantee of OFG certification by AFNOR Certification.

AFNOR, holder of the operating license for the Origine France Garantie brand, sells this license in the form of a sub-license to companies wishing to be audited. As guarantor of the labeling, AFNOR Certification thus ensures that TEMO meets all the criteria to benefit from the right to use the Origine France Garantie label.
